Cindy Yu

Assistant professor. Cindy is interested in Survey Statistics, Bayesian statistics, statistical inference of stochastic process, econometrics. She has developed Bayesian Markov Chain Monte Carlo techniques for estimation of infinite-activity Levy jump models and implemented those methods using data from the stock and option markets. She graduated with her Ph.D. degree in statistics at Cornell before coming to Iowa State in 2005.
