Changing the
Zoom Level
Have you ever
found it difficult to read the contents of a web page because the fonts were
simply too small? The zoom feature in IE
7 while not a new feature has been improved and now resizes the page content so
that it’s easier to see what’s on the page.

Demonstration: using the various Zoom features

Change the zoom level
by using the Zoom Level control at the bottom right of the screen.

Change the zoom level
by clicking on the Page icon and selecting a zoom level choice
o
Keyboard shortcuts
are Ctrl + and Ctrl – to zoom in and out respectively
o
Dynamically zoom by holding
the Control key and scrolling the mouse wheel
Favorites &
History
Where did the Favorites and History icons go you ask? Your list of Favorites is still accessible
from the Menu bar of course; you’ll have to turn the Menu Bar on permanently or
temporarily enable it by pressing the Alt key.
