Printing and
Print Preview
Have you ever printed a web page that spilled across
multiple sheets and wished it could have fit on a single page? The improved printing in IE 7 addresses this
problem by allowing the user to graphically control the page layout by
adjusting margins, size, and location of the page to be printed.

Demonstration: entering
the Print Preview mode

Enter the Print Preview mode by clicking on the down arrow
next to the printer icon and choosing the Print Preview option
o
Enter the Print
Preview mode from the Menu Bar by selecting File, Print Preview (the Menu Bar
may have to be enabled by pressing the Alt key)

Demonstration:

Use the various
options at the top of the Print Preview to select portrait or landscape layout,
to disable or enable showing header/footer information, and change page display
size
o
Adjust the printer
margins by clicking and dragging the margin indicators
o
Scroll the mouse wheel while depressing the Control key to
change the location of the graphic image on the page
